FAQs
Visiting the cinema
What time should I arrive?
Doors will open 30 minutes before the listed screening time.
Have your digital or physical tickets ready to be checked at the front door.
Please queue downhill (towards The Elephant), we are expecting full screenings and will do our best to get everyone inside as quickly as possible.
The film will start promptly at the time shown on your ticket.
Is there car parking?
There is no parking available on Mason Street or streets nearby the Picture House.
Please respect the road markings and do not park across driveways, on double yellow lines or in bus stops.
Please use public transport or walk wherever possible.
Limited parking is available for ticket holders at Woolton Tesco.
Sainsbury’s car park is not available to cinema goers at this time.
Is there reserved seating?
Seats are unreserved.
If you are attending in a large group we recommend you arrive early to ensure you can sit together.
As many of these screenings are fully booked, we ask that you fill every row and do not leave spaces between groups.
Is everything in the cinema in working order?
The Picture House will be not as you remember. The walls are patchy and we are missing carpet, however the seats have been thoroughly cleaned, we have a projector and sound system, suitable lighting and a working heating system!
There are toilets, including a disabled toilet, available at the venue.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Sweets, popcorn and cold soft drinks will be available to buy at the front concessions stand.
There will also be cold soft drinks and alcoholic drinks available to buy from the bar at the back of the auditorium.
Drinks will be served in cans. Some plastic cups are available but we are trying to keep these to a minimum.
As requested, ice creams will also be available to buy during the intermission.
Unfortunately hot drinks will not be available at this time.
Other house rules?
No smoking or vaping is permitted in the Picture House at any time.
Please respect our neighbours by queuing and leaving quietly.
Thank you!
