Take a Look at the Improvements So far!

Woolton Picture House volunteers who completed defibrillator training thanks to The Oliver King Foundation.

Since the Picture House came under community ownership in May, work has been well underway to bringing the cinema back to its former glory with essential maintenance and improvements.

So far, the work carried out has included:

• Repairs to the roof and gutters (thanks to Chestnut Roofing)

• Repairs to the floor

• Ladies' toilets refurbished (thanks to Dave Brierley)

• New stage area below the screen (thanks to Harry Crampton and Aiden)

• Wifi installed

• Defibrillator installed (thanks to The Oliver King Foundation)

• Asbestos removal.

All this work has been made possible by the wonderful support from local companies and the hard work of the Woolton Picture House volunteers!

Further plans for a more extensive refurbishment are currently in progress, with initial plans and drawings outlined here.

Together, we’re working with the local community and businesses to make the village a better place.
